| Get a USPSA RO or CRO Qualification |
Give only standard USPSA commands. These are:
Load and make ready.
Stand by! (1 to 4 seconds, then beep)
Stop! (only if required)
If you are finished, unload and show clear.
If clear, hammer down, holster.
Range is clear.
Watch the gun, not the target.
Watch the gun closely and yell "Stop!" if you see a squib.
Stay close, but don't interfere with the shooter's movement.
Be sure your timer is in range to catch the sound of the last shot.
Treat every shooter the same.
Always give notice "the range is clear" after clearing the shooter.
Be consistent in announcing where you will begin scoring targets.
